We highly recommend using the Public Transportation to access to the Guadarrama National Park, and to move around the different villages and mountain passes.
But if you finally decide to drive, we present you as follows a map with the main parking lots available in the National Park and its environment, and as well a description of the recommended ones.
Please remember it is absolutely forbidden to park out of the designated places, and to block the forest paths accesses.
From the different viewpoints scattered throughout emblematic locations of the National Park, it is worth to contemplate scenic landscapes not only from the Park, but as well from the Peripheral Zone. If the weather conditions allow it, Madrid City might be also seen.
The viewpoints usually have an “orienting aid” and/or an explanatory board in order for the visitors to understand and learn the place names of the landscape they are watching.
The Sierra de Guadarrama National Park Visitors Centers offer the following basic services: visitors’ information desk, welcome centers at the main National Park entrances and basic explanations to encourage the understanding and appreciation of the protected zone main values.
