Management Committee
The Management Committee is made up of representatives of the Autonomous Communities with National Park territory.
The Decree of March 27, 2014, published in both Communities Official Bulletins on May 30, approves the Statutes regulating the management and participation bodies of the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park. It provides the creation of the Management Committee as a coordinated management body of the National Park. In it will be represented the Communities of Madrid and Castilla y León, and it is formed by three representatives appointed by the Communities. The Co-Directors are entitled born members.
The members of the Management Committee, constituted on May 21, 2014, are the following:

The Decree establishes that the chairmanship of the Management Committee will be held by the higher rank Representative of Community that holds the rotating (every 2 years) Direction.
By Order of May 20, 2014, the Councelors for the Environment from both Communities Governments of Madrid and Castilla y León, agreed that the first chair of the Management Committee should be held by the representative with the highest rank among those appointed as members of the said Commettee by the Community of Madrid.
